About Kept

Kept keeps your receipts and warranties in one place. Scan a receipt and Kept reads the store, date and total on your iPhone, tracks how long each item is covered, reminds you before a warranty ends and builds a claim pack PDF when you need it.

Common questions

The receipt details are wrong

Text recognition works best on a flat, well-lit receipt filling most of the frame. Kept only pre-fills the form — you can correct any field before saving.

I'm not getting reminders

Make sure notifications are allowed: Settings tab → Notifications, or iOS Settings → Kept → Notifications. Reminders are sent at 9 am, 30, 7 and 1 day before a warranty ends (whichever you picked for that item).

Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?

Items, receipts and photos are stored on your iPhone and included in your regular iPhone backup. You can also export everything as CSV from the Settings tab.

Do I need an account?

No. Kept works without signing up or signing in. To remove everything Kept stored, delete the app from your iPhone.
